What better way to say Thank-you than with this Simple Beautifully Braided Thanks card. Sometimes simple stamping is all that is needed to show your appreciation.
I've been tucked away in my craft room this weekend because it's super cold outdoors. I used some of my time to create my customer Thank-you cards for April because we are now in May: can you believe it!
The Beautifully Braided stamp set features a bunch of Ginkgo leaves. These Ginkgo leaves can be coloured but I chose to leave them as is: stamped in Blueberry Bushel ink.
Steps to create my card:
- Card base: Blueberry Bushel card stock (14.9cm x 21.0cm)
- First layer: Whisper White card stock (9.5cm x 14.9cm).
- I stamped the Ginkgo leaves in Blueberry Bushel Ink on the piece of Whisper White card stock
- The ‘thank you' sentiment, I stamped in Blueberry Bushel Ink as well on Whisper White card stock then trimmed (1.3cm x 3.6cm) and adhered to a piece of Blueberry Bushel card stock (1.7cm x 4.0cm)
- I adhered the Whisper White layer to the Blueberry Bushel card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
- I wrapped some Linen Ribbon (30cm) around my card, tied a bow and then trimmed the edges because they were too long
- The sentiment is attached with dimensionals so as to add height to the card
These are the products I've used to create my card:
- Stamp Sets: Beautifully Braided [151637]
- Inks: Blueberry Bushel [147138],
- Paper: Whisper White [106549], Blueberry Bushel [146991]
- Tools: Paper Trimmer [152392], Clear Block E [118484]
- Embellishments/Ribbons: Linen Thread [104199]
- Adhesives: Dimensionals [104430], Multipurpose Liquid Glue [110755]
If you placed an order with me during April, one of these cards will be coming your way soon.
