Coastal Cabana Beautifully Braided

This Coastal Cabana Beautifully Braided Card will be heading out in the post to a friend as I haven't seen her due to our current physical distancing restrictions. I'm hoping she will love the Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay colour combination because these are two of my favourite Stampin' Up!® Colours. What are yours?

To create this card I used the Beautifully Braided Bundle. I saved 10% because I bought the stamp set and punch together. The stamp set features Gingko leaves and the punch creates a lovely braided element.

Steps to create my card:

• Card base: Coastal Cabana card stock (10.5cm x 29.8cm)
• First layer: Whisper White card stock (9.5cm x 14.0cm).
• The Ginkgo leaves are stamped in Bermuda Bay Ink on the piece of Whisper White card stock then I've stamped the ‘leaf blotches' in Coastal Cabana ink
• ‘Friendship refreshes the soul': I totally love this Sentiment! I stamped it in Bermuda Bay ink on Whisper White card stock. I cut the sentiment out in my Cutting Machine with the Stitched Rectangle Die (3.0cm x 5.5cm) from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

• The Whisper White 1/4″ Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon adds another element to my card. I wrapped it around the Whisper White card stock and tied a bow before I adhered it to the Coastal Cabana card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
• Dimensionals add height and dimension to a project so I put dimensionals under the sentiment
