What a great way to use you Designer Series Paper. I've created this Daisy Birthday Wishes Card using the beautiful Ornate Garden Designer Series Paper. I think it's simple yet stunning.
The Layers for my card:
- Card base: Old Olive cardstock (10.5cm x 29.8cm) then scored at 14.9cm
- Designer Series Paper layer: Ornate Garden (10cm x 14.3cm)
- Layer: Gold Foil (3.2cm x 10cm)
- Banner: Whisper White Cardstock (2.5cm x 10cm)
- Stamp the ‘Birthday Wishes' Sentiment in Old Olive Ink
- Daisy: Stamp 2 medium ‘Daisy' images in Terracotta Tile Ink on scrap Thick Whisper White cardstock then punch out the Daisies using the Medium Daisy Punch
- I used Thick Whisper White Cardstock because it is a sturdier cardstock
- Insert: Whisper White Cardstock (10cm x 14.3cm)
- I decorated the insert with three Daisies stamped in Terracotta Tile Ink
Assembly of my card:
- Assemble of the Daisy:
- Curl the daisy petals with your Bone Folder to give the Daisy some dimension
- Adhere the two daisies with Mini Glue Dots &
- add a Gold Gilded Gem to the centre of the daisy
- Adhere all layers together with Stampin' SEAL, attach the Daisy with Mini Glue Dots
