These cards have been created using the Banner Blooms Dies and Whisper White cardstock on Magenta Madness & Gray Granite card bases. The beauty of this big diecut is that the ‘incased' banners co-ordinate with the three sentiments.
I've made two cards that are very similar. The differences being: the ribbon, Rhinestone size/placement and the adhesive I've used.
The Layers for my card:
- Card base: Magenta Madness or Gray Granite card stock (10.5cm x 29.8cm)
- Large Floral Diecut : Whisper White card stock (11.5cm x 14cm)
- Insert: Whisper White (9.5cm x 14cm)
Stamping and Assembly:
- I've dry embossed the cardbase front using the Dainty Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder.
- I stamped the sentiments in Classic Stampin' Ink straight onto the diecut. The two sentiments are from the Hand-drawn Blooms Stamp Set.
- Magenta Madness: ‘SO GRATEFUL TO HAVE A FRIEND LIKE YOU'
- Gray Granite Card: ‘CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR SPECIAL DAY'
- I've coloured the Rhinestones in Magenta Madness or Gray Granite Stampin' Blends to tie in the card monchromatic colour scheme
- Magenta Madness Card: I've popped up the die on Mini Dimensionals (some cut in half) and adhered it to the cardbase. I've wrapped the Magenta Madness Ribbon around the card and tied a bow over the top of the die stems and adhered it with a few Mini Gluedots.
- Gray Granite Card: I've wrapped the Gray Granite ribbon around cardbase first and adhered it under the diecut. I made sure the ‘join' of the ribbon was under a leaf and stem. No bow for this card! I've adhered the die with Multipurpose Liquid Glue, evenly distributed on the back of the die.
- I've stamped the floral image on the Whisper White insert and on the envelope in the corresponding colour. I've adhered the insert with Stampin' SEAL.
